I'm not setting the crochet world on fire these days

I wanted to share how my one-skein project came out from the weekend. It was a scarf pattern using Lion Brand Homespun yarn.

Are you ready to be amazed? Because here it is...

Didn't get very far, now did I? But I did start my first sock pattern. It seems simple enough. It's the Scrunchy Slippers using Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick. I started this this past Sunday night and haven't actually had time to work on them again. But as soon as I finish up here I plan on it.

So on that note, here is a picture of my puppy, Prince Louie IV. He is a Doxieshire, or as I prefer, a Dorkie.
Until next time,
Terri

Isn't working with Homespun the worst? My mom made my daughter and me both afghans out of it and said never again! Your son will be in my thoughts and prayers. I've got a cousin in the Marines who has already done 2 tours, one in the Marine Reserves who did 1, and another one who is at Ft. Bragg for the Army right now. The one in the Reserves also celebrated his 21st birthday overseas.

Adorable puppy! And sometimes, the best laid plans..... We don't get that brand here in the UK, so I have no idea what it's like to work with *lol*
